Stickers!

Hello and good day!

As I said in the previous post, I am working on the one-shot collection. It is still in the early stages, I am a bit busy for the next two months, but I expect more concrete progress afterward. I was talking to my friend the other day about my concern if whether anyone is interested in buying the book since it will have a massive difference in art and story style that might bore people. She suggested doing it as a journey book. Similar to what I had in mind, the structure of the book could be a little different. I will review and update you in due time.

In the meantime, I will start a mini project doing chats stickers. Yaaay!!!

I thought doing stickers will be a fun little project. I've seen so many artists who sell chats stickers in LINE app. I've been meaning to do so for months now but didn't find the time and eventually forgot about it. The stickers came across my mind not long ago and I simply decided to go for it!

I primarily plan to release it on LINE as many others do. It's straightforward and you can easily monetize it as well.

I took a poll on Instagram asking what people usually use for chatting. There are a few who used LINE but the majority use WhatsApp, and to be honest, I use WhatsApp more than LINE. But monetizing stickers on WhatsApp is a little bit different than LINE. I did a brief research, people use Stickerly app where they upload stickers for review before they can publish them. I'm still not sure how it will work though, so I will do more comprehensive research about that.

Maybe I will launch the stickers on LINE app first, then WhatsApp. I could do another small set of stickers of 5 or 8 to launch on WhatsApp for free, or I could use the same batch of stickers but a smaller set of 5 or 8, and if you want the whole set you can go on LINE.

I'm still thinking about this.

But enough of the boring stuff! Let's talk more about the stickers themselves!

Starring my stickers will be my oc and persona Sakuranbo. it will be a cute sticker set you can easily use in daily conversation. I'm still in the brainstorming phase, deciding what emotions should I put, what situation I would use this sticker...etc.

I don't know how many stickers will be yet. I'm thinking it should be more than 15 stickers at least, 20 will be a good number too. I don't want it to be a big set of 40 stickers. Up until now, I've drawn 16 stickers, and I'm not sure whether to continue more or go with a 16-sticker set.

I definitely would like to go for 20 stickers, but I don't know what other emotions to put.
